granny mandala and shop progress

So, the shop is coming along.  I've written and re-written the profile and policy pages.  Once I get a better feel for shipping I'll be able to write a better policy-thingy about it- more specific and thorough- but until then, I think I've got a working version.  I'm still waiting on business cards and stickers for packaging and branding.  Also waiting on some findings I ordered from Etsy.  They're coming from Hong Kong, so it might be a while.  If I had realized where the shop was located I would have rethought that purchase.  Oh well, live and learn.

I'm thinking of doing up some crochet iPhone/ iPod sleeves while I wait for the goods needed to finish these earrings.

Also working on a granny mandala, if only to take a break from the teeny tiny hook needed for the earrings.  Feels good to work on a bigger scale.

opening my etsy shop

My first pair of crocheted earrings are just about ready for the shop!  I'm working on packaging details and shop policy details, and of course crocheting away.  Ani and a little boy at the park helped find just the right spots to take pictures.  The bottom one is my favorite.  I'm so excited to get this thing (small business venture????) up and off the ground- if for nothing else than a good place to funnel my creative energy.
